My sister Andrea was out to visit (from Maryland) a couple weeks ago. My friend gave me a couple great tickets to a Mariners game - 18 rows up, right behind home plate. Here was our view:
We kicked it around Olympia Friday, Saturday, and Sunday because the weather wasn't so great... but Monday we made a day trip to Oregon to Cannon Beach (which is an incredible place) and Portland in the evening. A long day, but lots of good times.

It was fun to take a slightly longer trip than usual. Cannon Beach is a little over 3 hours away. Thanks for coming Ann!
